Vincent Muturi Mogaka

Head of Sustainable Urban Mobility

A detail-oriented urban designer and transport planner. He brings hands-on experience supporting Kenya’s transition to sustainable mobility through national e-mobility policy development, charging infrastructure planning, BRT corridor enhancement, and public participation processes across major transport projects. He has contributed to interministerial committees, regulatory reviews, feasibility studies, NMT initiatives, and grid-integration assessments through roles at the Ministry of Roads and Transport and GIZ Kenya.

Skilled in GIS, Adobe tools, research, stakeholder mapping, and evidence-based urban design, he combines technical expertise with practical fieldwork and policy insight to advance cleaner, safer, and more efficient mobility systems in Kenya.

An Urban and Regional Planner passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable communities. At Kilimani Community Foundation, she led community-led programs across urban development, environmental management, and social cohesion.

Her expertise spans spatial planning, transport planning, community engagement, and advocacy. She is an active member of AAK (Town Planners Chapter) and WIRE Kenya, championing gender inclusivity and sustainable development.

Alex Munyu Njuguna

Head of Urban Planning & GIS

An urban planner dedicated to fostering sustainable and resilient urban areas through innovative use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). With a strong background in spatial analysis, he leverages GIS technology to understand complex urban dynamics and design data-driven transport solutions that prioritize community engagement, climate resilience, and environmental health.

His passion lies in using GIS to identify optimal land use, enhance green infrastructure, and model transport networks that reduce carbon footprints while improving accessibility for all.

Head of Advocacy & Participatory Planning

A passionate multidisciplinary urban development professional dedicated to advocacy, social justice, sustainable transportation, and inclusive city-making. Currently pursuing an MSc in City Planning and Design at Queen’s University Belfast as a Commonwealth Shared Scholar.

Her award-winning work has been featured in national and regional competitions and conferences. She is a member of KIP, AAK–Town Planners Chapter, and WIRE, and has contributed to impactful community-led initiatives through SDI Kenya.

Known for her analytical rigor, strategic insight, and commitment to financial integrity, she strengthens financial systems, drives operational efficiency, and supports data-driven decision making within multidisciplinary teams. She is dedicated to advancing organizational resilience and contributing to sustainable growth and long-term strategic objectives.

Technical Lead – E-Mobility

A licensed Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems and renewable energy solutions, with EPRA Class C1 and T3 Solar certifications. He brings hands-on experience in solar PV design, installation, testing, and commissioning, alongside power system infrastructure works delivered through both private engineering firms and Kenya Power–contracted projects.

With a strong background in system design, site surveys, safety compliance, and team leadership, he supports the delivery of reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions, including emerging electric mobility applications. He is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and committed to engineering excellence and innovation.
